In short

Bonjo does not collect any personal data and sends nothing to any server of ours — we don't run one. Everything about your learning stays on your device.

What stays on your device

• Your lesson progress, saved words and mistakes, your streak, and your name if you enter one.
• This data is deleted when you delete the app. We never see it.

Microphone and speech recognition

• The microphone is used only while you practice speaking, and only with your permission.
• Your speech is turned into text on your device. Recordings are never stored or sent anywhere.

Reminders and widgets

• Reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
• Widgets read a small summary of your progress stored on your device.

Subscription

• Purchases of Bonjo Plus are handled by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.

Tracking and ads

Bonjo has no ads, no analytics, and no tracking across apps or websites.

Children

We collect no data from anyone, including children.
