Privacy Policy

CV ATS ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. You don't need an account, and your resume content stays on your device unless you choose to use an AI feature. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we store on your device

Your resumes — names, experience, education, skills and everything you type — are saved locally on your device. We do not host a copy on our servers, and we cannot read them.

AI features

When you use an AI feature (Create with AI, tailoring to a job, job-match scoring, or Improve), the text you provide is sent through our secure proxy to our AI provider (OpenAI) so it can generate or improve your resume. If you paste a job link, the app may fetch the public job posting text so it can be matched to your resume.

• We only send what's needed to perform the action you requested.
• Our AI provider does not use API content to train its models by default.
• We don't store your AI prompts or results on our servers.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. This involves an anonymous subscriber identifier — not your name or resume content.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your data.
• We don't show ads.
• We don't build advertising profiles about you.

Deleting your data

Deleting a resume in the app removes it from your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored resumes.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
